Waste Management Europe Conference

The Waste Management Europe Conference (WME), hosted in Bergamo (Italy) from 9-11 April 2024, stands out as a key event in the trade fair landscape, focusing on Circular Economy. It serves as a platform that brings together political decision-makers, global organisations, and innovative solutions to tackle waste management challenges and guide activities in this field.

In its third edition, themed "Transforming waste into a resource - Innovate, Collaborate, Support," the event returns to the Bergamo Fair, renowned for its rich history, traditions, and vibrant entrepreneurial network. The exhibition and conference space will showcase the entire waste management and material recycling industry chain.

ICLEI Europe will be featured at a dedicated stand within the exhibition area and will also host a session on the role of cities in fostering urban-industrial symbiosis models. Reach out to us to arrange a meeting and secure a delegate ticket at a special discounted rate.

The international conference will address topics such as enhancing environmental sustainability, tackling climate change, and exploring the economic benefits of the circular economy. The event will feature technical-scientific presentations in the "Theatre," within the exhibition pavilion, facilitated by innovative exhibitors, prominent universities, and research institutions.

WME 2024 aims to foster connections, create opportunities, and forge new partnerships and pathways. We look forward to seeing you in Bergamo from 9-11 April!
